Went by train to Margate to deliver a print of my 'Dubbing Out' linocut to The Margate Gallery in Lombard Street. It will be exhibited alongside other printmakers work in the PUSHING PRINT event starting next weekend.
Whilst in Margate I visited the new Turner gallery,fabulous light inside,ok show.
Back to Rye in time to get to the launch of the LION STREET STORE,a new and rather fab shop in Lion Street.Our friend Sarah Benton has done an excellent job against massive odds and some downright unpleasant people.
We will return for a proper look around during the week when Angela and Eve return from Paris.Well worth a visit when you are in Rye
